I have always respected non-profits and appreciated their efforts. It wasn’t my intention to focus my business on non-profits, but that was before I started working with them. In 2017, three years after Brogan Video started, I had the privilege to work with a local garden and organization assisting developmentally disabled children and adults. Very soon after that, I was calling myself a non-profit videographer.
Since then, I have been able to work with many more groups—from small two-person organizations to world-wide franchises. The challenge, pride, and satisfaction that comes with working with these vastly different groups has become one of my favorite parts of my work.
What I quickly realized is that non-profits have powerful stories to tell—but they often lack the resources or time to tell them well. They’re busy doing the real work: feeding families, advocating for change, protecting the environment, educating the next generation, and offering vital support to those who need it most. Video gives these efforts a voice. It brings donors closer to the mission, invites volunteers to take part, and helps organizations show their impact clearly and emotionally.
My approach is collaborative and personal. Every non-profit is unique, and so is every video. I begin each project by listening—really listening—to your goals, your audience, and what story you want to tell. Whether it’s a one-minute social media clip or a full-length documentary, the goal is always the same: create something authentic, moving, and effective.
Over the years, I’ve helped non-profits:
Each project is different, but the heart behind them is the same. These aren’t just videos—they’re tools for change. Tools to help organizations grow, inspire, and do more of the good work they’re already doing.
I understand that working within a non-profit budget can be challenging. That’s why I’ve structured my services to be flexible and scalable. Whether you need a quick turnaround for an upcoming gala or a long-term video strategy to elevate your annual giving campaign, I’m committed to working within your means to deliver a high-quality product. You won’t find inflated production packages or unnecessary add-ons here—just honest work tailored to your needs.
Working with non-profits has also taught me to be resourceful and creative. Many of my favorite shoots didn’t have the fanciest gear or biggest crews, but they had something better: real people with real stories and a deep passion for their cause. That authenticity can’t be manufactured, and it’s what makes each project so rewarding.
As Brogan Video continues to grow, I’m constantly inspired by the people I meet through this work. The directors juggling multiple roles, the volunteers showing up week after week, the families who generously share their stories—all of them motivate me to keep improving my craft. It’s more than a business to me; it’s a way to support the organizations that are making our communities stronger.
If you’re a non-profit looking to elevate your message through video, I’d love to talk. Whether you have a clear vision or just a feeling that “we should probably be doing more video,” I’m here to help you bring it to life. No pressure, no jargon—just a conversation about how we can tell your story in the most impactful way possible.
Video is a powerful medium, and when used with care and intention, it can truly amplify the work you’re already doing. My job is to make that process easy, effective, and even enjoyable. From the first planning meeting to the final edit, I’m committed to being a partner you can count on.
Thank you for considering Brogan Video. I’m proud to stand behind the camera in service of causes that matter. Let’s create something meaningful together.
I’ve worn every hat you could find on a film set.
I rush so you don’t have to.
I want to work in ways I’m not used to, I want the challenge.
It’s my number one goal, to be polite and courteous.
